Fig and Gorgonzola Pizza

Fig gorgonzola pizza

The pizza only needs a few ingredients, but they all come together to create a very elegant yet delicious dish. The tangy and salty gorgonzola pairs well with the sweetness from the figs and helps give the pizza its savory flavor. The balsamic glaze carries both the sweet and savory components and helps elevate the flavor of the other ingredients. Since figs are very subtle, the final drizzle of honey at the end helps to enhance their flavor and adds a finishing sweet contrast to the gorgonzola cheese.
